Plans for new London properties unveiled

Proposals which may be welcomed by people seeking property for sale in London have been unveiled by
Qatari Diar Real Estate.
The firm, which is run by chief executive officer Ghanim bin Saad
al-Saad, is developing a 12.8-acre site in the capital.
As well as residential properties, the Chelsea barracks scheme will
include a mixture of shops, community facilities and a medical
centre.
Also, art will play an important role in the area, those behind the
plans said.
The project is expected to occur in three phases and the proposals
are the result of lengthy public consultations. It is hoped the end
product will be a distinctive and recognisable part of
London.
A spokesman for Qatari Diar said: "An enormous amount of work has
gone into this masterplan concept, which will lead to a development
of which London can be truly proud."
He added that thousands of people have been involved in the
planning process.
